Both are extremely important tools in training. The whole BF movement of recent times helped bring the theories to light for me and I've transitioned to running 100% of my running in light weight racers with short strengthening runs in my vibrams! Thanks for paving the way and opening to eyes that sometimes, less is more!!

@RunsOnBeerDavehttp://www.runsonbeer.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8803284.post-16508949292142999002011-02-09T03:15:22.233-05:002011-02-09T03:15:22.233-05:00Sound disappointing. Except for zoom in the browser, you can not change the font size for other apps and shortcut icons. It is very often too small for comfortable reading for people who have even slight need for reading glasses. Hopefully some future OS upgrade will remedy this. There are tons of posts on the web complaining about this issue. Try searching "android font size" - there are even some people suing Google over the lack of font sizing as a handicap accessibility issue.Thinnmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18377556027270114694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8803284.post-34790288334968582092010-08-31T13:26:55.389-04:002010-08-31T13:26:55.389-04:00I am curious to hear about how you like the Androi...I am curious to hear about how you like the Android. I use an iphone w/Runkeeper, but I am always wondering about other options. Btw, have you heard of the Barefoot Runners Society? I had hoped to break 40:00 for the first time with this race and was on track to do it - but just finished over 40. So that was frustrating. But I did like the course, and thought the race was one of the best organized and friendliest I've run. There are a LOT of turns in the course and I suppose you could get it down near 6.2 by cutting each one perfectly. I also wondered about the pack seemingly taking the long way around certain turns (the end of the Hyatt pier was mentioned above, and I also noticed the turn from Grove onto 1st in the first mile). Apart from that, it was a very well organized event, with staff really on top of things (in contrast to years past when check in was really inefficient and water station volunteers were standing around watching the runners go by).Anonymoushttp://(optional)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8803284.post-2540789929952796532010-05-09T20:45:52.606-04:002010-05-09T20:45:52.606-04:00I ran this race too!
